Hosted by UCL, Woman’s Place UK and the UCL Womens Liberation SIG it is a day brimming with panels, workshops and key notes.
Our workshop: Creating women-only space for community activism. An interactive, women-only workshop with the organisers of Brighton Rise Up campaign and Brighton Sisters Salon.
A chance to discuss and share experiences and ideas for: bringing women together in your local area; identifying and gathering evidence on women’s needs; raising concerns and advocating for women to your local council/service providers; supporting each other for successful campaigning.
Join us on sat 4th Feb at UCL for a one day conference ‘Education for Women’s Liberation’.
About us: We hold monthly gatherings open to women only, by which we mean people aged 16 or over who were registered as female at birth, regardless of current gender identity. This is because we believe it is important for women to have self-organised spaces in which to discuss our collective interests.
